1st Blog

Hi there! This is the first post for my new blog. I'm so glad that you're here.
This is a place for me to let it all hang out. A place where I just get to be me.

If you don't already know, my name is Daphanie Austin, and I'm a professional photographer. I live in southwestern Oklahoma and service all of it and parts of Texas.

First and foremost I need you to know that I LOVE the Lord. I am so thankful for His saving grace, His unmerited favor and His unconditional love. I am beyond blessed and it is all due to Him!

I've been married to my wonderful husband Jerry for 15 years this coming May. Together we have 3 amazing kids (Aaron, Wyatt and Hannah). Our family also has 2 of the cutest dogs EvEr! A 4 year old, 5lb, gorgeous Yorkie named Lexi and a 9 month old, 4lb adorable, Yorkie-Poo puppy named Abby.

Now when we got Lexi she was such an awesome puppy. She never chewed on anything. She never got into anything. She was tough to potty train, but other than that she was the model puppy. She went everywhere I went in her little purse and the only time she even remotely let anyone know she was there was if she heard or saw a child (she LOVES kids). Such a good girl!

Then there's Abby. Now Abby is so incredibly smart. (She's scary smart. LOL) But she's ALWAYS into something! We have a wood burning stove (our main source of heat in the winter) and Abby loves getting the pieces of wood and bark that fall onto the floor when we bring the wood in. She grabs them and runs. Her favorite place to take all her treasures (dog toys, wood, bark, tissues, etc) is under the dinning room table where she likes to chew on them. I haven't even attempted to try to put Abby in a puppy purse. I just don't think her little body could handle holding in that much energy for any length of time. She's also terribly hard to potty train.

Now I know what you're thinking, but you couldn't be further from the truth. I love this dog. I laugh at her ALL the time. She is always doing something goofy not to mention she is just so loving and sweet. She loves kids, cats, other dogs and even chickens. She thinks everyone should love her and they do. You just can't help it. LOL

Okay, enough about my "girls."

I hope you'll check back here often. This is where you'll get to know me and my family (dogs included). Thank you again for taking the time to read my blog and God bless!
